It’s been all over the news recently.  Cyber crime is on the rise in a big way and now small businesses are being attacked.  According to Verizon Communications forensic analysis, 72% of the 855 data breaches analyzed last year were at companies with 100 or fewer employees.

Small businesses are often more vulnerable than large companies who can afford robust security software and full time technology staff.  With costs averaging $200 per compromised record, it is now more important than ever to protect your business with a Cyber Crime policy.

Of 500 U.S. companies surveyed last year 76% had a cyber breach within the past 12 months.  There have many articles of late about small companies losing thousands of dollars to cyber crime.    Without the resources of larger corporations, these cyber criminals have found it much easier to hack into the accounts of smaller companies.
