We’ve seen a series of proposed changes to wages recently.  New York State’s fast-food wage board recommended raising the minimum wage in New York City to $15 an hour by 2018.

The Obama administration has also been pushing to increase the eligibility for overtime.  Meaning businesses may be forced to now pay overtime for salaried employees making up to as much as $50k.

With all these changes in the pipeline, be sure to secure an EPLI policy that contains wage and hour defense.
